This gauze is combined with an aluminum wire mesh screen to give you the best in air filter technology and protection. AFE also constructs a complete air intake system that can replace your stock air box and air intake tube, allowing the maximum amount of air flow possible for much improved performance. The Stage 1 system comes with only the larger replacement air box and air filter. The Stage 2 system comes with the larger replacement air box, air filter and a larger smooth I.D. polyethylene intake tube and all hardware to make the installation complete.
